Established in 1962
the
Cross
Creeks National Wildlife Refuge is located
in Stewart County just seventy-five miles northwest of Nashville, Tennessee.
The Cross Creek area is full of water from the Cumberland river, rolling hills
and high bluffs. More marshland, brush and bottomland create an ideal
environment for migrating waterfowl.
